Sweet Dreams:

The Cotton Mouth Cottage Kitchen

The idea for Cotton Mouth Confections has been around since 2013 when I went to a festival in Seattle, and I realized that there wasn't anything sweet to snack on besides Elephant Ears, and the thought of butter and cinnamon and dough in the hot sun wasn't appealing.

It occured to me that what sounded really delicious was some sour cotton candy and a bottle of ice cold water. I'd never had sour cotton candy before, it just sounded good at the moment. And you know what? It is good. Really, really good.

Flash forward to June of 2025 and Cotton Candy Confections was born. I partnered up with a friend and we put every dime we have in order to start our little company. We got a top of the line machine, some bags, sugar and flavorings and started experimenting.

I've worked hard to perfect the recipes for 50 unique, handmade sour and sweet flavors. We decided right from the beginning make our own flavors and to never add any extra colors.

Flavor is for your tongue, not your eyes. Color is for your eyes, not your tongue.

3 premium ingredients are all we use to make our gourmet cotton candy. No added food colors make it white and fluffy like a delicious cloud.

As soon as you taste it, you'll be blown away by the explosion of flavor. I'm still amazed at how good it tastes.

We've come a long way and we're almost ready to launch our Cottage Kitchen in Seattle as soon as we pass our inspection and receive our certification!

Every bit of merch we sell goes to building our dream of bringing the best tasting cotton candy I've personally ever had to you.

We plan to be at Farmer's Markets in Seattle, like the Fremont Sunday Market, the South Lake Union (SLU) Market on Saturdays and the Wallingford Market on Wednesdays.

We want to be at all the festivals and events, like Seafair, the Bite of Seattle, Folklife and events around Washington, like the Twilight Festival in Forks, Bass Canyon and maybe a rodeo or logging show or two.

We're going to have a funky tie dye canopy tent, disco music and bright colorful vibes wherever we go.

You'll see our canopy from across the event and know that Cotton Mouth Confections is here with our incredible gourmet cotton candy, ice cold water and some of the coolest Bigfoot based tie dye merch you've ever seen!

The ultimate goal is to have a small little

If you'd like to help us on our journey, sign up to the Cotton Mouth Club, buy some groovy merch, and tell us how, where and when Cotton Mouth has made your day a little more groovy. Every purchase goes towards building our dream and making it a reality. We're so close!

Groovy Gear

We're a Veteran Owned small business

I'm an Air Force vet and a veteran of Desert Storm. I'm manifesting my dream business and it's cooler than I could have ever imagined.

I design the artwork for the merchandise, and I hope you think it's as cool as we do.

I only want our name on premium quality products but at an affordable price.

In a time when everything is getting more expensive with lower quality, we want the opposite. We're nostalgic for a time when things were made to last.

Meet the Owners

It's just the two of us, friends with a dream, putting our hearts and savings into making that dream a reality.

Michael is an Air Force vet and for the last 8 years has been in the legal cannabis industry in WA.

Kamie is a longtime Boeing veteran working on a wide variety of projects, most recently on the 767's. Awesome.

Both of us are parents of adult kids who are a huge part of our lives.

Everything we're doing is to take care of our family and enjoy our lives after working so hard.
